Mexico Trip #2

Between the flight from Brazil and Maui, I stopped in California for a couple days. My dad works with construction and was working with a house that was being torn down. Instead of throwing away perfect windows and doors he saved it. After seeing photos from my Mexico trip in August he remembered me telling him that the people that helped and looked after me while my truck broke were remodeling their home and needed windows and doors. So, when I returned from Brazil we had just enough time to make the journey back to Mexico with a trailer full of windows, doors, desks, clothes, tools and a bunch more.
It was a long drive but worth every bit. They were happy to see me and couldn't believe I was back so soon!

San Agustin - almost exactly half way point if you go to Punta Abreojos.
You see this sign on your right 1 hour south of El Rosario.
Just about 6 hours past the boarder
San Agustin town consists of Natvidads home/cafe, nothing else.

The road goes on and on and on

My dad and Adan check the roof and discuss what they need for next time

The mechanics who saved the day!

We brought down a bunch of new tools for them so they can keep working on broke down Toyotas!

Adan tells my dad about his grandfather and his grandfathers' father

After having great food and cafe with my new "auntie" and "uncle" of Mexico we headed back home. The drive is one of a kind with beautiful cactus everywhere. Unlike last time I drove this road by myself a little shaken up , this time I got to enjoy the ride home with my dad. We stopped along the way to check out the huge cactus.

This happened a couple days before we arrived in San Agustin. I man was driving and hit a cow! Gnarly, huh?!?
The man was fine but the cow ...not so good
