Lanes was really awesome to explore. Usually if its flat I snorkel Ho'okipa were the only thing on the flat bottom is coral and Vana ( poky sea urchins ). Lanes was full of crazy looking tunels, holes, coral shelfs, colorful fish like the humuhumunuknukuapua'a, of course tons of broken masts, battans, fins, and friendly turtles. Super fun. I also got a good look at the famous Ho'okipa rocks. They don't look to welcoming even on flat days.
