Wisdom Teeth :(

Talk about no fun. Yesterday all four of my wisdom teeth were removed. Such a bummer, but I had to do it. At least I have Nemo and some beautiful flowers that make me feel better.

Camping!

We started the day pumped up and ready for a crazy wild man hiking adventure that we heard about. We thougt it would be easy to find even though none of us ever went on it before, but it wasn't. We ending up making our own trail that didn't lead anywhere. After a two hour detour of walking around in the boonies we decided we should go camping instead.

We set up a really fun camp. We had our tent (put up all by ourselves), our BBQ ( propane and easy to use), garden burgers with sprouts ( the best garden burgers ever!), smores (super stiky like always), fishing pole ( didn't catch anything but seaweed), fire ( collected kiawe sticks to burn ..kinda dangerous and a sore thing to do) and had music playing for our fire dancing!

Stand up.. HO'okipa to Camp 1

Paige Alms ( Mauis surfing ripper) and I did a down winder on stand up paddle boards. I had a great time and good work out. Paige taught me how to catch the little swells and how you can connect them to keep riding down wind. Plus we were lovin' our matching visors..made us feel super special!! :)

Hana

No wind, no waves... The only thing else to do is go on adventures around the island.

Lana'i

After the surf contest my friend and I saw the Ferry to Lana'i at the harbor and thought it would be fun to go, so we went.
We spent the rest of the day there on Lana'i and had tons of fun.

Rainbow Sandals Lahaina Surfest Contest

There was the last surf contest of the season on Saturday at Lahaina Harbor. There wasn't much of a swell at all with one wave sets of knee high waves.

Haleakala Sunrise

My friends and I camped up on Haleakala to be sure we didn't miss the sunrise. It was amazing. If you go up make sure you have a ton of blankets, layers on layers of clothes and crunchy apples to munch on while the sun comes up. It gets mighty cold up there so be prepared! It is a beautiful view and the Jacaranda tress are in full bloom.
